| With temperatures on rise, we start thinking about heat risk and the potential risk to people and communities due to the heat. Friday will be the warmest day this week with MODERATE heat risk in many valley and city areas. Make sure to prepare for the heat, especially if you are sensitive to heat, plan on being outdoors for prolonged periods, or are not used to the desert climate. Drink lots of water, take breaks where it’s cool, and wear sunscreen! |
